On Sunday the 22nd we were treated to Linn’s most exceptional system – Klimax DSM, Klimax LP12, 360 speakers and Linn’s most powerful and sophisticated amplifier to date – Klimax Solo 800.
Throughout the afternoon Basil Audio’s guests compared the latest in Linn’s flagship technology, demonstrated by multiple top-of-the-range solutions using Passive (with active bass) 360s driven by Klimax Solo 500 and then Klimax Solo 800 amplifiers, and even the fully active Exakt 360 with internal amplification for a full breadth of comparison at the very top level.
In addition, vinyl old and new was played on Linn’s 50th-anniversary limited edition LP12-50, with its new Bedrok plinth technology and compared with the existing Klimax LP12.
Two Linn Brand Ambassadors, Paul and Lorenzo (pictured with our custom white finish Linn 360 speaker) led the demonstrations and discussions and talked through the Linn technologies that make these 3 pieces so globally revered.
