LOS GATOS, Calif. November 5th 2015 — Basil today announced that it will participate in the first-ever retail Mini Maker Faire®, which Barnes & Noble partnered with Make: Magazine to launch from Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 8.
A Maker Faire is a community-based learning event that inspires everyone to become a Maker and connect with people and projects in their local community. The events are designed for people of all ages and backgrounds who have a desire to create, learn and share, and who bring a DIY mindset to technology.
As a local Maker in the San Francisco Bay area, Jeremy Bicknell, Basil’s CEO will discuss two top audio brands from the UK and the cloud web servers, construction materials, apps, books and techniques he is using to set up Basil’s first studio that shows these audio systems to local customers.

For the first time at a US audio show, Naim’s Super Lumina “full loom” installed in a Naim 500 series reference system.
LOS GATOS, Calif. , August 12th 2015 — Basil & Co today announced that it will be presenting a range of Naim systems at the California Audio Show 2015.
This is believed to be one of the strongest line-ups of Naim’s products at the show in its 6 year history.
For the first time at a US audio show, Basil will be featuring the full Super Lumina loom in a complete 500 series system. In addition, the latest Naim streamer firmware and Naim App will be available in the same room to demonstrate multiroom and party mode across the three systems.
Designed to maximise the performance of Statement but equally at home in 500 Series and Classic Series systems, Super Lumina speaker cables are available with 4mm or spade connectors while Super Lumina pre to power amp interconnects are available with DIN to XLR, and XLR to XLR terminations. Super Lumina source to preamplifier interconnects are available with DIN to DIN, DIN to RCA, RCA to RCA and RCA to XLR connectors.
“During the development of Statement, our flagship amplification system, our engineers realised that they would need to design a whole new range of high-performance cables for it to reach its true potential” said Doug Graham, Naim’s VP of Sales. “Naim are delighted that our new dealer in the Bay Area, Basil & Co, will be presenting our high-end Super Lumina cables in a 500 Series system at the show.”
